Happy birthday Karan Johar: Wishes pour in from Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and other Bollywood stars

As the quintessential king of glamour and candyfloss romance, Karan Johar, turns 47 today, wishes have been pouring in from his friends in Bollywood. The director, who has already jetted off to New York to celebrate the special day, gave a surprise visit to veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who is undergoing treatment there.

Kapoor was the first one to wish The Student of the Year director on Twitter. “This is wishing Karan Johar a very Happy Birthday. God Bless! You are such a riot to sit with and listen. Enjoy New York!,” he wrote.

Karan’s favourite, actor Alia Bhatt also wished him. “Happy-Birthday-My-Family,” she captioned the picture. Katrina Kaif also shared an Instagram story for him.

Arunoday Singh, wife Lee Elton separate after 3 years of marriage

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Arunoday Singh, who was last seen in Irrfan Khan starrer Blackmail, has announced separation from Canadian wife Lee Elton. The actor took to Instagram and wrote, "I haven’t been writing or posting for a while. There’s a reason for it, a rather sad one: My marriage seems to be over. Turns out we were very good at love, but couldn’t survive reality. Despite our best efforts, professional counseling, and current trial separation, nothing seems to have helped bridge the fundamental differences that have emerged between us. It seems wiser to let go. I think we both deserve better. Actor Deepika Padukone met veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh in New York recently. Neetu took to Instagram to share pictures from their get together. “Such a fun evening with adorable @deepikapadukone .. gave lot of love n warmth,” Neetu captioned the pictures. Deepika is seen in a white sweater in the pics, giving Rishi a big hug as Neetu clicks a selfie. Rishi has been receiving treatment for cancer in New York since last year.
