Alia Bhatt shares teaser of Student of the Year 2 song Hook Up, flirts with shirtless Tiger Shroff. Watch here

Alia Bhatt has shared a teaser for her upcoming Student of the Year 2 song with Tiger Shroff, titled Hook Up. The video will be released on Tuesday, the actors have revealed in social media posts.

The short teaser shows Tiger and Alia in what appears to be an empty club, dancing flirtatiously with each other. Tiger is wearing a leather jacket and no shirt, baring his abs, while Alia is dancing in the corner. As they approach each other, their first names are revealed in fancy title cards, only for them to merge before our eyes into a hashtag: #Talia. The sole line sung in the video is, “Hook up tu kar le na."

Alia and Tiger had previously shared stills from the song, which was first announced at the launch event of the film’s second song, Mumbai Dilli Di Kudiyaan. Tiger also shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation.
Tiger had admitted that Alia had outperformed him in the song. He said, “Personally, I have never done a dance number like that. Working with Alia was an amazing experience. Though she is such a big star, she was open and cooperative on set while shooting the song.”
Director Punit Malhotra agreed. He told Mumbai Mirror, “The song is a trump card which we saved for the end. Tiger will kill me for saying this, but Alia has danced better than him. I call it a leap of faith, it’s a fun space to be in.”
Student of the Year 2 is a sequel to Karan Johar’s 2012 film, which launched the careers of Alia, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. The new film will star debutantes Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. It’s scheduled for a May 10 release.
